Support CoQuest Artists
Welcome to the allocation page for CoQuest! This is where our community decides how we support the artists and contributors making CoQuest possible, using a mechanism called Quadratic Signalling.
You have 100 votes to distribute however you choose among the different artists. You can change your allocation over the course of the evening if you wish.
What is Quadratic Signalling?
Quadratic Signalling (QS) is a democratic way of distributing funds that puts power in the hands of community members. Instead of top-down decisions, you help determine where support goes by allocating votes across the artists and projects you want to back.
Here's how it works: Each person gets 100 votes to distribute among the artists however they choose. These votes act as signals of support, showing which artists you value most.
What makes it "quadratic"?
The $500 funding pool is distributed using a mathematical formula that gives more weight to the breadth of support rather than just the total number of votes. An artist supported by many people will receive a larger share than an artist with the same number of total votes from just a few people. This amplifies the voice of the many over the few.
In other words: the formula rewards artists based on how many different people signal support, not just the total votes they receive. Many small signals of support can generate a larger allocation than concentrated votes from a handful of supporters.

A huge thank you to the Institute for Community Sustainability, Reimagine Co, and SuperBenefit for contributing $500 to the matching pool to support London artists.
